Marine Corps veteran, Mike Crosby, didn’t leave the lessons he learned during his service behind. His drive to self-improve, maintain high standards, and be the best in everything he does followed him into the civilian world. These principles were the basis on which he began his real estate career and now, as a broker, he works to instill these values in his associates.

As a result, Mike has become one of the industry’s most knowledgeable and successful brokers. His firm, Homestead Realty, is the largest independent firm in Prince William County and has achieved the title of Best Commercial and Residential Brokerage in Northern Virginia. In addition to these accomplishments, Mike has also obtained a certification as a Virginia Real Estate instructor, teaching Real Estate Law, Contracts, Principles of Agency, Financing, Valuations, and Market Analysis among many other subjects.

Believing that knowledge is the key to success, Mike ensures that each associate in the Homestead family receives ample training. Courses taught by Mike at Homestead are designed to provide the necessary information applied to real world scenarios for maximum retention and comprehension. His courses include subjects such as Marketing, Financing, Photography, Real Estate Board Contract forms, Settlements, New Homes, Land Development, and Commercial Real Estate.

Mike proudly gives back to his community as well, coaching middle and grade school children in football and wrestling. He also served several years as a law enforcement officer before electing to put that time toward growing Homestead Realty and supporting his agents.

Joseph Curran

Joseph Curran holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree with the University of Richmond and a Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law. Joe Curran is licensed in Virginia and Maryland and has been practicing law for over thirty years. He is a partner with Parthemos & Curran, PLLC specializing in personal injury, worker’s compensation, and real estate law.

David Baird

OWNER

David Baird has over thirty five years’ experience in the residential home building industry. As the owner of established an advanced building component and materials and turnkey framing company called Homestead Building Systems, Inc. David has a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1996 and an MBA in Finance from George Mason University.  He isalso the former league president of Gainesville Basketball Association.
